Recent statements made by Annette King have suggested that the some members of the NATIONAL PARTY are wavering in their commitment to defeat the proposal to allow the Australian TGA to take control of our health industry. We can't let this happen and must keep National to their stated policy of opposing this.

Parliament is heading into a short recess which means that we have three weeks to show all the National MP's the extent of public opposition to this proposal.

I know many of you have already emailed the MP's to express your opposition and thank you for doing. Your efforts have been very successful and effective. It is now urgent that this request gets to as many people as possible, please tell as many people as you can about the situation and the urgent action needed; Ask people to visit the site and use the tools we have provided.

Also good news is that the NZHT has printed 50,000 postcards to make it easy for people to sign and send (freepost) to Parliament, setting out their opposition. I have included a picture of the postcard below for your interest. If you can help by distributing these cards around health shops, practitioners or any local place where they will be picked up, signed and sent. please contact me using the details at the bottom of this newsletter and I'll have the quantity you can distribute sent to you straight away.

Just imagine the impact of 50,000 of these cards hitting Parliament telling them NZ wants to make its own decisions. Once the 50,000 are sent we will print more!
